An Apple A Day Acupuncture Of Arlington & Belmont
Patricia Smith Burkhart, MAC, Lic. Ac.
I have provided professional acupuncture treatments in Arlington and Belmont since 2002. My practice has successfully treated hundreds of people for a wide variety of medical conditions. An essential part of my treatments is the compassionate, effective, thorough care I provide for my patients.
- After working with me, many patients have, with the advice and consent of their doctors, been able to reduce or eliminate their medications following successful acupuncture treatments of their condition.
- I am happy to report that patients say that they wish they had sought out acupuncture with Pat first, instead of as a last resort. Acupuncture was their most successful form of health care.
I am knowledgeable about western medical terminology, pathophysiology and treatments, and I am able to make informed and appropriate referrals.
- I have trained in Traditional Chinese style acupuncture, Japanese style acupuncture and Five Element theory.
- I volunteer as a member of Acupuncture Without Borders, a non-profit organization providing relief and recovery for people experiencing trauma from disasters and global conflicts.
- I served as a Diplomat to the 5th International Congress of Natural and Traditional Medicine and Bioenergetics in July 2004.
I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA), the oldest established school of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the US. I am licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine, and I am board certified by the NCCAOM ( National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine ).
